Collab Works is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. If you have a question about your information, email hello@collabworks.co.uk.

What we collect

This website has no contact form. If you email us or book a call, we may receive your name, contact details, organisation, booking information and anything you choose to include in your message. The website’s hosting provider may also process basic technical logs, such as an IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver and protect the site.

We also use privacy-focused web analytics to understand which pages are useful and how people find the site. This records the page path, referral source, campaign parameters, browser and device category, and country. It does not collect names, email addresses or full IP addresses as analytics data.

How we use your information

We use this information to reply to enquiries, decide whether we can work together, deliver agreed work and keep the business secure and properly administered. We use analytics to improve the site and understand whether our communications are reaching the right people. Our lawful basis is usually our legitimate interest in running Collab Works, taking steps you request before a contract, performing a contract or meeting a legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We use service providers for website hosting, analytics, email and call booking. Cloudflare processes analytics events for our Counterscale dashboard. They process information only to provide those services. If you follow a booking link to Cal.com, the information you enter is also covered by Cal.com’s privacy policy. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only for as long as they are useful for the conversation or a resulting working relationship. Analytics events are retained for up to 90 days; long-term analytics archives are disabled. Client and financial records may be kept longer where tax, accounting or legal rules require it. Service providers keep technical logs according to their own retention schedules.

International processing

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we use providers that put recognised data-protection safeguards in place.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict how it is used, or object to its use. Email us to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies

Collab Works does not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website. The analytics service uses HTTP cache response headers to estimate visits without setting an identifier cookie. If we introduce cookies or materially change this analytics approach, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated first.
